Jamie C. Henry, Attorney at Law
Originally from San Luis Obispo, California, Jamie Henry, Esq. has called Northern Nevada home for over two decades. Her family relocated to Minden when she was in 6th grade, and she later graduated from Douglas High School. She earned a dual degree from the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR), graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish. While living in the Reno/Sparks area, Ms. Henry also had the opportunity to travel extensively through Europe as part of her Spanish studies—a passion that continues to influence her love of travel.
After completing her undergraduate studies, Ms. Henry attended California Western School of Law in San Diego, where she earned her Juris Doctor in just two years, graduating at the top of her class. During law school, she interned with a criminal defense attorney and later passed the Nevada bar exam. Ms. Henry began her legal career practicing civil litigation, where she gained invaluable experience in the courtroom. However, her true calling was always family law. Over the past decade plus, she has developed a strong practice in family and criminal law, regularly handling complex domestic cases, court appearances, mediation services, and court appointed advocacy cases.
Ms. Henry is passionate about advocating for her clients. As a dedicated and compassionate attorney, she strives to ensure her clients receive the highest level of representation. She takes the time to educate and inform, working tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome for each case. Known for her attentiveness, attention to detail, and client-first approach, she is committed to providing superior service while maintaining sensitivity to the emotional challenges that often accompany family law matters.
Outside of her practice, Ms. Henry enjoys spending time with her husband of nearly 20 years, Kris Henry, a local contractor and owner of A Home to Envy, and their two children. Together, they are an active part of the Northern Nevada community, balancing their professional and family lives with a deep commitment to each other.
